According to the latest rental property advice guide from the London Paper, those looking to rent in the capital need to be aware that it takes time and hard work to find the perfect place and they should take heed of their top five tips. Firstly, the paper suggests, it's important to research potential areas to live, whether it be the West End or the East End, central or out in the suburbs. "Make a list of what's really important to you and keep it in mind when you're looking for places," it states. This links into the second tip of finding out what you want and stick to it as best as possible, though be prepared to be flexible. In addition, it's important to both take your time and not rush into making decisions you may later come to regret and also factor in additional costs such as deposits, bills and council tax.
