Stratford renters to be entertained during daily commute

Workers commuting from the affordable rental accommodation of East London to the well paid jobs in the center will be able to enjoy some of the finest contemporary theatre over the next few weeks, thanks to a company of actors visiting from Australia.

Back to Back Theatre will be bringing their Small Metal Objects to show to London, though rather than taking over a West End theatre, they shall be performing on the platform of Stratford station to an audience of commuters.

All members of the audience will be given a set of headphones with which they will listen to the dialogue of actors who will be dispersed among the crowds, allowing for a welcome relief from the daily grind.

Following on from the successful street theatre seen in the popular suburb of Clapham, this latest work once again highlights the wide variety of free and cutting-edge entertainment on offer in London.

In addition, the performance comes as the area around Stratford benefits from a significant programme of renovation in preparation for the forthcoming Olympics, though the area still offers affordable rental accommodation alongside excellent links to Canary Wharf and the city centre, making it a highly popular choice among young professionals.
