St Pancras set for official unveiling

The new St Pancras station is set to be officially opened by the Queen on Tuesday ahead of the launch of the new Eurostar service from the terminal.

The station has been given a £800 million overhaul, which includes improvements to the surrounding area of King's Cross, and is now ready for the launch of its new services.

It is hoped that the arrival of the Eurostar service at St Pancras, instead of its current terminal at Waterloo, will increase revenue as more people from the north of the country are able to directly link up with the service.

The King's Cross area of London is currently undergoing a major rejuvenation effort and the new St Pancras terminal is considered the jewel in the crown of the area.

King's Cross is a popular area of London and is a prime spot for those looking for rental accommodation, set in the heart of London as well as having excellent transport links, now improved thanks to the St Pancras upgrade.
