Queen Wag Nancy coming to Manchester |
21 2007 |
| What better indication that a city is up there with the best of them than having the 'Queen of the Wags' move there. After living the high-life in Rome and London with her partner, football manager Sven Goran-Eriksson, Nancy Dell'Olio is has announcd she is to shun the capital in favour of Manchester. Despite the fact that Sven is now the manager of Manchester City, the 46-year old lawyer has refused to confirm whether she will be moving in with him or even whether the pair are still an item. "I'm so very, very busy in London and Sven is busy in Manchester so it is difficult. But I have been to Manchester before and hopefully you will soon see me spending more time there," she told the Manchester Evening News. "I have been to places like Geneva, Rome and New York but it is good to come to somewhere like here," she added. Aside from the glamorous Cheshire suburbs favoured by footballers and their partners, trendy areas such as Chorley and Didsbury offer both affordable rented accommodation and a touch of the high-life, with neither far away from the boutiques of King's Street or the designer bars around Deansgate. ![]() |
