More opportunities open up for Brighton students and graduates

Hundreds of new jobs are to be created in Brighton over the coming year as large employers look to tap into the city's talent.

The South Coast city is highly popular with both students and young professionals, who are drawn by the chance to live in one of the UK's most vibrant cities and rent an affordable flat by the sea.

Now it has been announced that Lloyds TSB is to be the latest firm to make use of the large number of graduates and skilled workers Brighton has to offer.

The bank is to expand its operations in Gloucester Place with the creation of in excess of 100 jobs.

"There's loads of opportunity to develop your career and I would definitely recommend it for somebody looking for a flexible, friendly working environment," said Sally Jones-Evans, managing director of telephone banking at Lloyds.

As well as offering full-time opportunities, the news is also likely to be welcomed by Brighton students looking for part-time work.ADNFCR-1219-ID-18432452-ADNFCR
