London to light up for fireworks festivities

Details of some of the major Bonfire Night celebrations in London have been released, with those renting a flat several stories up in for a memorable few nights.

Battersea Park, one of the capital's most lively green spaces, follows on from a long summer of festivals with a Saturday night bonfire and fireworks display, which promises to be one of the best in the city.

While entry to the event costs £5, those renting a flat in the area will be able to watch for free, with the iconic Albert Bridge which links the affordable accommodation of the south of the river with the trendy area of Kensington and Chelsea on the other side of the Thames, offering an ideal vantage point.

While most of the finest displays will be taking place in south London, such as the mammoth event scheduled for Clapham Common, those living in the north of the city will be able to celebrate Bonfire Night at Alexandra Palace, while those renting a house with a garden, however, will be able to put on their own displays.
