London remains number one choice for graduates |

| The many attractions of London, not least the high number of top jobs on offer, are set to draw in growing numbers of young graduates, with other UK cities missing out, a new study has concluded. According to the online recruiter jobsite.co.uk, more than half a million graduates will head to the capital in search of work over the next 12 months, with one in three current students seeing their future in the city. Manchester will also benefit from a large number of new graduates as students from across the north look to stay there to begin their careers. In comparison, cities such as Nottingham, Leicester and Ipswich are set to lose out as only a small minority of graduates expressed their intentions to stick around, the study also found. Aside from the possibility of landing a plum job, young professionals are being drawn to London due to the city's unbeatable arts scene as well as its vibrant nightlife, with areas such as Clapham well known as being home to 20-somethings making the most of their time in the city. ![]() |
