Josh Hartnett renting in central London

American movie heartthrob Josh Hartnett has become London's latest celebrity renter, it has been revealed.

The 29-year-old is currently on an extended visit to the city, having landed the role of Charlie Babbit in the stage remake of the Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise classis movie Rain Man.

Rather than forking out for a hotel close to his West End theatre, estate agents have revealed that the Pearl Harbour star is looking to rent his own place, preferably close to Covent Garden – though this shouldn't be a problem, considering he's reportedly willing to pay up to £1,200 a week.

Charles Peerless, director of Winkworth estate agents stated: "Josh came to us looking for a minimum of two bedrooms.

"He wanted a large, contemporary apartment, preferably with a doorman or porter."

Just last month Russel Crowe moved his family into a rental home in London while he shoots a new Robin Hood film up in Nottingham. ADNFCR-1219-ID-18712231-ADNFCR
