Government plans London regeneration |
06 2007 |
| An increasing number of people are likely to be looking for rental space in London as the government plans to regenerate the city. Although the capital has already gone under a major transformation in the last few years, the government announced plans in the Queen's Speech for a new programme of house-building across the country, with London one of the cities set to benefit the most from the scheme. The Queen announced the launch of a housing and regeneration bill in the government's plans for the coming year and it is hoped that the bill will see the creation of three million new homes across the country. It is hoped that the moves will boost the number of people interested in living in London and will result in an increased need for rental property in the area. ![]() |
