Free kung fu and spying lessons for busy Londoners

Proof once again that living and studying in London needn't break the bank comes in the shape of a series of new lunchtime lessons on a range of valuable life skills, including moonwalking and kung fu.

Following on from their successful public lectures on how to lie effectively, comedians Mark Maier and Mike Gunn have announced a new series of free tutorials to take place across the city's West End over the next couple of weeks.

First up is the skill of talking one's way back into favour with others - a useful thing to know for those Londoners renting a flat with other people - with this to take place at both 12pm and 1pm at the Royal Aeronautical Society on Hamilton Place this week.

After mastering this skill, bored students or workers on their lunch breaks can then pick up tips on how to learn essential life skills based on your gender, such as the ability to carve roasts well for a man or decline a marriage proposal and secure an upgrade on a flight for a woman.

In addition, the art of meeting the parents of a new partner, kung fu fighting, dancing like Michael Jackson and living like a spy will all be dealt with in further sessions, all of which cost nothing. ADNFCR-1219-ID-18312393-ADNFCR
